Bring all of you. No explaining required.
Many people have sat in a therapist’s office and felt judged, dismissed, or like they had to teach the therapist before they could be helped. You shouldn’t have to.
I am LGBTQIA+ allied, sex positive, intimacy affirming, kink allied, and sex worker allied. I strive to create an inclusive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your identity, sexuality, relationships, and lived experiences with confidence that your autonomy, boundaries, and values will be respected.
What that means in practice
- No judgment. Who you are, who you love, and how you live are not problems to fix.
- No lessons required. You won't have to educate me before I can understand you.
- Your autonomy leads. You decide what to explore, what to share, and what goals matter.
- Boundaries are respected. Including yours, and mine, in a respectful and collaborative way.
- Consent and choice. Sessions are paced by you.
Who this space is for
- People in the LGBTQIA+ community
- People exploring or questioning their identity or sexuality
- People in ethical non-monogamy, kink, or other relationship and intimacy styles
- Sex workers and people with experience in sex work
- Anyone who wants to talk about intimacy, desire, or relationships without shame
What we can work on
Identity and self-acceptance, relationships and intimacy, anxiety and depression, grief and loss, life transitions, self-esteem, and healing after abuse or assault. Your identity is not the reason you are here unless you want it to be. You can come for anything.
Online, across California
Meeting by secure video lets you connect from a space that feels safe and private to you. I see clients located in California.
Questions people ask
Do I need to explain my identity or lifestyle to you?
No. You are welcome to share as much or as little as you like. I won't ask you to justify yourself.
Is what I share confidential?
Therapy is confidential within the limits of the law, and I'll go over those limits with you in our first session.
Can I come if my concerns have nothing to do with my identity?
Yes. Many people come for anxiety, grief, or relationships and simply want a therapist who is affirming.
An easy first step
Your first session is a conversation. You can ask me anything about how I work and decide whether I'm the right fit.
